In Memoriam - Irwin Allen

On this day in "Lost in Space" history . . . Mr. Irwin Allen passed away in Santa Monica, California on November 2, 1991. The cause was a heart attack.

Irwin Allen has pleased many fans of television and films because he shared with us the wonderful fantasy worlds he created including "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea," "The Time Tunnel," and "The Land of the Giants."

Yet, most importantly, he created the eerie, cosmic world of "Lost in Space."

We wish to thank Irwin Allen for his marvelous work that we all enjoy so much.

May he rest in peace.
